Dear Primary children and families:
We are pleased to announce our first ever Eola Hills Primary Art Show. We talked about this briefly in March and watched a video of primary children talking about their art and how it symbolized important gospel principles to them.
Our themes are Family, the Atonement and the Resurrection. Of course if there is another gospel theme you would like to depict, then please feel free to use that theme to inspire you as you create your artwork.
Sister Beckstrom will be at the church building Saturday night April 19 from 5-6pm for you to drop off your artwork, or you can bring it before Sacrament meeting on Easter Sunday. We will have tables set up in the primary room and if families or friends want to join us we will have a gallery walk right after Sacrament.
Artwork may be painted, drawn, colored or sculpted. For three intensional pieces you may use play dough, construction paper, even Legos! Please use a 3x5 card to write the title of your artwork, what theme it portrays and your name and age. We will pass out 3x5 cards Sunday or you may use your own.
We hope you enjoy making a piece of art to share your testimony-we are very excited to see your testimonies take shape in drawings, paintings and sculptures!
